Teenager who lobbed grenade at Bus stand got Rs 50,000
3/13/2019 11:14:00 PM
The Jammu and Kashmir police have been awarded for immediate resolution of the militant outfit responsible for derailing peace in Jammu by throwing a handgrenade in a busy bus stand in the heart of the city in which 29 people were injured and two civilians were killed. Mark the flow of money to the rebel outfits and this can be indicated by the teenager who threw the grenade at Jammu Bus stand and was paid in advance Rs. 50,000. A teenager who allegedly lobbed a grenade at the Jammu bus stand, is under 16 and said that "he was paid Rs 50,000 by a Hizbul Mujahideen militant for it". This signals that terror groups have again started using underage boys for creating terror among the people in Jammu and Kashmir. Naturally educated boys are forced to join militancy because there is no heavy cash deal except by the militants. For every attack on the security convoys a militant may get not less than Rs. 20,0000 this way the attraction for the unemployed educated by seem to be high
Both the state Government and the centre may watch the wealth at the disposal of militant commanders. This calls for a major recruitment drive so that unemployed educated youth is given good jobs and it may be better for the youth to join either the Armed forces or the police. And for doing this the centre should earmark some reservation for the boys from Jammu and Kashmir in the Armed forces. The state may seek financial help from the centre for raising additional police battalions so that several hundred educated youth get a chance to join the police. Yes, the risk for doing this high but once the educated boys from Jammu and Kashmir may draw satisfaction from the regular salary they get from the police. That too involves no death.
Let the centre announce reservation for boys from Jammu and Kashmir in public sector undertakings and the Railways. Under this reservation boys from Jammu and Kashmir may get preferential treatment in getting jobs. Once several thousand boys from Kashmir are employed in some Armed forces, police or public sector undertakings or Railways and terrorist outfits may not get boys from Kashmir to be recruited in their outfit. That is the only way to allow peace to return to Jammu and Kashmir. Prosperous people in he state and that too belonging to the transport sector and other business sector can afford to pay militant outfit lakhs of rupees for ensuing their safety. This way money flowing from Pakistani agencies and the local people have been helping the teenagers to get monetary help for hurling a grenade or for an armed attack on security picket or convoy. This trend is to be arrested and this can be done by giving jobs to every educated youth in the state.
