Sunderbani, Mar 20: Sunderbani people believe the Pardhan Mantri Gram Sarak Yojna has failed in Rajouri district. According to the sources, contractors are using substandard material and boulders for construction of drains of a road from Block Boundary to Hathal.
Locals said they have a right to proper and quality road connectivity. "When the government sanctions a work, it has to monitor it to ensure its proper completion," they said adding the engineers and contractors of the above mentioned road are hand in glove and use sub-standard material in the construction.
The locals have sought appropriate action against the erring contractors and engineers. |
