Jammu, Mar 28: Poonch Royals Cricket Club registered win against Saffron Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the ongoing Winter Shield T20 Cup and entered in the next stage on Thursday, organized SCA, J&K Sports Council under the supervision of Dr. Naseem Choudhary , Secretary J&K Sports Council. Batting first Saffron Cricket Club managed to score 129 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 over's wherein Ayush scored 32 runs, Kishandeep 31 runs and Aqhib 18 runs for the team. From the bowling side Chamkor Singh took 2 while Haseeb, Sunil and Abbish took 1 wicket each.
While chasing the score of 129 runs, Poonch Royals Cricket Club chased the target in 18.3 over for the loss of 6 wickets, thus winning the match by 4 wickets. Divyansh scored 42 runs, Robert 30 runs and Sachin scored 15 runs for Poonch Royals Cricket Club. For Saffron Cricket Club Viboor Khajuria and Vimal Raina took 2 wickets each while Kishandeep and Vinay managed 1 wicket each. Divyansh was declared man of the match. The matches were officiated by Vijay, Dayal and Ashok Kumar.
On Friday, Patel Cricket Club will take on MCC at 10:30 am and Media Cricket Eleven will take on Lucky Club at 1.30 pm |
