JAMMU, Mar 28: Suffocated by the BJP's policy of duplicity, deceit and betrayal besides its hollow promises, Vinoo Jamwal, senior BJP youth leader along with several sarpanchs and supporters left BJP and joined Panthers party in the presence of Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP in Jammu today. Meanwhile, in a press conference, the youth leader lambasted the saffron party for alluring the voters with its tall slogans during the elections and later leaving them in lurch with all trumpeted rants turning into mere rhetoric. Coming down ferociously on the BJP for suppressing the voice of youth of Jammu region, Vinoo Jamwal lambasted the slogans of 'Achey Din' sold by the saffron brigade with a big bang as a illusionary mirage shown to the youth for vote bank politics. He said that thousand of crores of rupees had been incurred only to woo the young voters as these 'jumlas' had failed to make an virtual impact on the ground. He flayed the saffron brigade for treating them like 'disposables' and putting their future in jeopardy. Asserting that development had come to grinding halt in Ramnagar in the last four years, he said that there was no comparison to the works done by Harsh Dev Singh in his constituency. Welcoming the new entrants in the party fold, Harsh Dev Singh said that Central and Kashmir based parties including BJP, Congress, NC and PDP had marginalized entire Jammu province for the sake of power in the past 70 years. Prominent among those who joined NPP included Sarpanch Raju, Nb. Sarpanch Kewal Kumar, Nb. Sarpanch Dev Singh, Manzoor Ahmad, Mohd. Ishaq, Sushil Puria, Aman Kumar, Balbir Singh, Pushp Raj, Raj Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Mohinder Kumar, Subhash Kumar besides others. |
