BJP did nothing except giving hollow slogans: Kohli | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 3: State President Shiv Sena Dimpy Kohli today said that the BJP did nothing for the people of the state except giving hollow slogans. Addressing media persons here, Kohli along with Manish Sahni (Jammu Poonch Candidate), Harsh Kumar Gupta (Vice President), Raj Singh (State Secretary) said that under the BJP government at the Centre the J&K State was declared as the second most corrupt state in the country. Kohli said that some recent orders of the government have facilitated the State in earning the most dubious distinction of being the most corrupt State in the country. Kohli said that corruption had engulfed the entire State during the last few years with norms and procedures openly blown into smithereens for personal and political gains. Execution of works without tenders, backdoor appointments, paid transfers and now back dated requisitions and orders on use of CDF had completed the vicious cycle of corruption, he said. Kohli said those who were swayed by the hollow promises and seductive slogans had seen through the real face of the BJP and were desperately waiting to teach their mandated leaders a life time lesson. He said that not only were the people of Jammu cheated by the BJP over the false promises made by it but were extremely antagonized over the complete disregard for their honour and pride which the Dogras valued more than their lives. He appealed to the people to give Shiv Sena a chance to serve them by giving full support in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections so that the long pending grievances would be resolved at the earliest. |
