| AJKSPA seeks release of pay commission arrears | | |

Jammu, Apr 3: All J&K State Pensioners Association (AJKSPA) have appealed state government to get the 7th pay commission arrears released without any further delay.
According to press release, Madal Lal Abrol, General Secretary said that the pensioners have been demanding pensioner identity cards for the last 25 years. "A G. Office is not working sincerely as thousands of pensioners are running from department to department. The J&K Bank Shalamar has not released the Pay Commission arrears w.e.f 1/1/16 to onward even sadar treasury officer has passed the bill since last 5 months. Arrears should be given with interest", he said. They requested Chairman J&K Bank to release the pending arrears of the pensioners, withheld by them. They said that the Pensioner Association will protest at Bishnah from 11 AM near Tehsil officer and requested the pensioners to attend the protest. |
