Jammu, Apr 3: Kuldeep Kumar Rao, an active member of Movement For Peace, Equality & Justice, has expressed great surprise and shock over the latest political campaign frenzy leaving the most important issues of public interest with regard to corruption, un-employment, uniformity and improvement in education sector in the country, black money, price rise, adulteration, use of pesticides, germicides and chemicals in fruits & vegetables, spreading cancer in the country etc at the back foot and instead the emotive & provocative issues like Art. 370, 35-A, AFSPA, Autonomy, self rule, demanding separate PM for J&K, Pakistan, riots of 1984 & 2002 simply to woo the voters of a particular sect, are being raised in electronic & print media vociferously to mislead the whole countrymen. This is likely to lay its dangerous impact on the society and seriously damage the tenets of our secular credentials & democracy, Rao said. He further said that the crime graph as also unemployment is increasing day by day and the political parties are only blaming one another and doing nothing. He cautioned the general public of the state that all political parties want to polarize the society, creates conflicts between various sections, faith, regions and castes keeping eye on votes only and nothing else. All the traditional political parties are one and the same share holders in corruptions. |
