In an attempt to beat the heat, an auto driver in Kolkatta has come up with an extremely innovative plan. Bijay Pal, an auto driver has planted an entire garden at the top of his auto.
Yes, you read that right. An entire garden. Not just plain grass, it also has small trees and shrubs.
The image that has been going viral on Twitter shows, Bijay Pal, sitting in his green coloured auto with a 'rooftop garden.' His auto is actually a green auto. It is not just of green colour but it also runs on LPG.
If you see carefully, you can see a red line right under the garden, which has Bengali written. On translating, it says, Save trees, save lives.
Bijay Pal takes great care of his garden, he waters them every day and spends a major chunk of his earnings on his garden.
With the harsh summers right around the corner, most of us would ditch an auto ride for an Uber ride. Just thinking about the loo gives us goosebumps. But Bijay's idea of keeping his auto cool is innovative and is winning the internet.
He is teaching us that we can all contribute in some way or the other to make the earth green and we laud him for that. |
