| Person sustains injuries after fired upon at Tamore-Samba | | |
Samba, Apr 11: One person namely Chaman Lal s/o Kaka Ram R/o Khanak P/s Hiranagar was fired upon by one namely Ali Raja R/o Tamore Police Station Vijaypur at village Tamore at about 1830 hrs. Reports said that Chaman received shots in his leg and got injured and was subsequently shifted to GMC Jammu. It is pertinent to mention that the victim, whose condition is not stated to be mentally stable along with his wife had gone to the residence of one namely Showkat Chowdhary R/o Tamore. There was a scuffle and when Ali Raja S/o Showkat Chowdhary resisted, he started quarelling with him and it was during this course that he fired three shots. Meanwhile Police Station Vijaypur has taken cognizance of matter. |
