| Er Wasim Kohli allegedly attacked by NC workers | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 14: Er Wasim Kohli, incharge BJP State ST Morcha was attacked by NC workers of Kalakote at SailSui polling station in Kalakote constituency. Kohli claims that persons involved in the brazen attack were two brothers and one son of Ex. MLA Rashpal Singh.
The Incident took place on 11th April when the NC workers harassed a BJP worker Dilbagh Singh at the said poling station. He was badly beaten up and was also forced to leave the booth. But somehow Dilbagh singh managed to run and saved his life. Meanwhile Er Wasim Kohli also went to cast his vote and he too was attacked by the said people. One of the accused Rarenshwar Singh punched Wasim Kohli in his face badly.
As a result of this incident number of people gathered outside the house of Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli and then marched towards the house of the attackers but they were pacified timely. Next Morning a delegation of Kohli supporters met with DC Rajouri and SSP Rajouri for taking a strict action against the culprits. DC Rajouri and SSP Rajouri in response assured the people that no culprit will go fee hand and strict action will be taken against whosoever is involved in this brazen attack.
Mr. Dilbagh Singh, deliberated that there are many FIR registered against these culprits but no strict action has been taken against them so far. He further warned that people of Kalakote constituency demands strict action against these attackers otherwise, a major protest will be taken out not only in Kalakote even in other parts of district Rajouri and Poonch. |
