| DB grants three weeks time to file response | | PIL regarding better care of old age homes | |
Jammu, April -15-2019-(JNF):- In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Viklang Chattra Trust seeking better care of old age home, A Division Bench of the State High Court Comprising Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Sindhu Sharma after hearing Adv Sumit Nayyar for the PIL, directed Social Welfare Department to file response within three weeks in terms of earlier order whereby Division Bench directed SWD to give details as to whether all the beneficiaries who have submitted applications for grant of benefits and those who have already registered are being given benefits under those schemes or not and whether paucity of funds is acting as hindrance with the department.
