| BAJ hoists 60 ft national flag | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 26: Bar Assosciation Jammu today installed 60 feet high for unfurling of the Tri-colour National Flag which was inaugurated by the President of the Association B.S.Slathia, Sr. Advocate accompanied by other office bearers including Sachin Gupta, Vice President, Prem Sadotra, General Secretary, Himanshu Sharma, Joint Secretary, Chetan Misri Treasurer & Daljeet Singh, President YLA. Slathia unfurled the National Flag accompanied by many lawyers also including senior and lady members. This is the highest Tri-color Flag Pole in the Judicial Institution expressing strong commitment of the lawyers fraternity with National unity and the Constitution of the Indian union.
Hundreds of lawyers, to express their strong commitment to Nationalism, gave their blood on the occasion to keep the National Flag Flying high.
Speaking on the occasion Slathia said that thousands of people of the State, Army and other security personnels besides J&K Police Personnels have given their prime sacrifies for upholding the dignity of the National Flag which is symbol of National unity and Independence. He strongly rejected to the threats given by some secessionist elements to the National Flag in the State of J&K. He further said that such forces shall never be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs of weakening the National unity. |
