Those demanding resumption of LoC trade should be investigated: NCP | | | ![](https://epaperimages.blob.core.windows.net/earlytimesphotos/earlytimesadmin/photo/274201901447363.jpg) Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 26: Veteran leader and Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP Chief J&K state welcomed the Ministry of Home Affairs and Home Minister Rajnath Singh who is tirelessly working for eradication of militancy in Kashmir and his decision on banning cross border trade with Pakistan from Uri and Poonch. Singh said this was the conspiracy of Late Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Congress who connived with congress set up and Muffti Mohd Sayeed was followed by Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. Singh said that the decision from the central government came after a tip-off from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) that claimed the route was being misused by Pakistani elements and trading firms, with links to militant organisations, to smuggle narcotics, weapons, and counterfeit money across the border. Singh appreciated the role of NIA who identifies atleast 10 militants who had crossed over to Pakistan set up businesses across the border with active aid of the ISI and were involved in funneling weapons , narcotics, fake currency to terrorists and funds to separatists in Jammu and Kashmir through the recently suspended cross LoC trade. Singh said this was a proper planning to start a full fledge militancy in Kashmir valley. Singh said those who are demanding to restart this LoC trade their role should also be investigated by an Independent agency. |
