Jammu, Apr 26: An awareness and practical demonstration regarding Solid Waste Management was taken up by members of SWM team of JMC at Kanji House and Gumat area. Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, Nodal Officer, SWM, JMC and Master Jorawar Singh told people that how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes.
People carefully listened and determined to take up such fruitful case in homes as well as surrounding people were shown container of Blue and Green colour to collect organic and inorganic waste of their home in separate manner. These initiative are taken by the team of JMC to change the behavior of the people. |
