SKUAST-TAJ holds executive committee meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 26: An executive committee meeting of SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) was today held at Chatha Jammu. According to press release, Dr. Vikas announced in the meeting that University has initiated the process for the one time settlement of the case of one of subject matter specialist who is working in the discipline of PBG for which the file containing all the necessary documents has been deposited with the Vice Chancellor's office. The meeting resolved to address the release of grant of incentive of two non compounded advance increments to scientists who joined between 1/1/2006 to 31/8/2008 with MSc. degree and release of four advance increments in favour of scientists. Dr. Vivek. M. Arya-General Secretary of the association, told that for the transparency and for the information of SKUAST-J employees, the up to date statutes of the varsity should be displayed on website. He also stressed for the preparation of discipline wise and inter se, seniority list of scientific staff of Divisions/Stations/Schemes/KVKs and display of the same on university website. The house appealed to the Vice Chancellor to look personally into the issues that are being delayed without any justifiable reasons by the concerned officers by tossing the files from one office to another from the last five years. President SKUAST-TAJ Dr. Vikas informed the house that the above mentioned agendas have already been discussed with the VC few days back and he assured to solve the same as soon as possible. Besides, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rai-Joint Secretary, Dr. Devinder Sharma-Publicity Secretary, Dr. Rajeev Bharat-Treasurer, the meeting was attended by Dr. Jai Kumar, Dr Anil Bhat, Dr. Brijesh Ajarawat, Dr. Brahma and other executives of the association. |
