Jammu, Apr 25: A student of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu has brought laurels for the state in Inter-DPS Language Festival -2019. Prasan ( surname) of Class VII-A and Harshita ( surname) of IX-A of DPS Jammu represented the school in All India annual Inter - DPS Language Festival - 'Triveni 2019' held on 20th of April, 2019 at DPS Bulandshehr. They participated in Sanskrit 'Shloka & Mantra Uccharan' competition, wherein students from all over DPS branches participated and showcased their talent and skills.
Prasan bagged the covetous third position in the said competition, while both the participants won huge appreciation for their performance from all quarters. Prof. B.P Khandelwal, Member , DPS Society, New Delhi and former Chairman, CBSE , Santosh Anand , famous lyricist, singer and a poet , Dr. Vishnu Saxena, famous poet and lyricist were among some of the prominent members present on the occasion.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners, their parents and teachers and thanked the DPS Society, New Delhi for providing such exposure for students. She also appreciated the efforts of the teachers.
