Kishtwar May 4: President Public Awareness Front Kishtwar Shakir Saddiqui in his press statement issued here today made an appeal to the District administration to ensure curb on the price hike during holly month of Ramadan, as it has been witnessed that the prices of most essentials shot up further as and when the fasting month begins. Ramadan is begin observed in the first week of May, but the prices of widely-consumed essentials have started increasing. Saddiqui further added that electricity cuts should be avoided during Tarawi and Saheri. He said that the Government depots should remain open and the commodities like sugar, Rice, flour, Kerosene oil should be made available to the people through out the month. He added that black marketing should be checked on daily basis and administration should make availablity of fresh vegetables, fruit, chicken meat, mutton on priority basis. |
