Doda, May 4: Waquar Ahmed son Nusrat Begum and Saidullah Ganai, resident of H.No. 75, Ward No.15, Nagri, Doda, Teh. and Distt. Doda has been declared as qualified for the award of Ph.D degree in Geology by the University of Jammu.
He worked on the topic "Resource potential and reservoir characterisation of the Damodar Basin Shales, East India" under the joint supervision of Prof. G. M. Bhat and Dr. John D. McLennan. His work is an outcome of collaboration between Deptt. of Geology, University of Jammu and Energy and Geoscience Institute (EGI), University of Utah, USA. |
