| Delegation of Jammu West calls on CE PHE | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 4: A delegation from different wards of Jammu West led by Chairman, Social Justice Committee Jammu Municipal Corporation, Jeet Kumar Angral called on Chief Engineer, PHE Department R.K. Gandotra along with the officials of PHE Department which include Executive Engineer, Asstt. Executive Engineer and Junior Engineer regarding the issue of water supply and Tube wells in different wards.
As the summer season is on the people have started facing difficulties due to the weather so to resolve these issues The Chairman suggested having a Janta Darbar in which Corporator of each ward along with Asstt. Executive Engineer, Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer of PHE Department and along with the residents of the concerned ward every Friday. Apart from that he also gave the suggestion to put Over Head Tanks in the concerned wards where there is an issue regarding water supply. The Chief Engineer along with the other officials agreed and assured that these issues suggested by the chairman will soon be acted upon. |
