Jammu, May 4: Founding member and Vice President of Gandhi Global Family J&K State, Shakuntla Joshi wife of Wing Comd M M Joshi passed away. She was a close associate of Didi Nirmala Deshpande and had worked tirelessly for promoting Gandhian activities in J&K State. She was also the core member of Women Initiative for peace in South Asia (WIPSA) and promoted confidence building measures between India and Pakistan. According to Dr S P Varma, GGF President J&K State, her cremation will be held tomorrow at Jogigate at 11 am. Smt Joshi was also the principal of Lawrence Public School.
