Early Times Report Srinagar, May 6: Pardesh Congress Committee on Monday alleged that its two polling agents were thrashed by a PDP Leader in Naira Village of South Kashmir's Pulwama district. "I would like to invite your attention towards the booth capturing of booth NO. 113 (Naira) GHSS in Rajpora Constituency by PDP Youth leader Waheed Parra, who is casting bogus votes on this booth since morning by not allowing our polling agents to enter the both," Congress said in its complaint. Congress alleged that PDP leader has indulged in fist fight with congress workers leaving them injured, grievously. "PDP Youth leader is influencing voters, making them to vote and is bringing in people from various areas to caste bogus votes at above mentioned polling, which is against the democratic process and should be stopped, forthwith," Congress complaint, an electronic copy of which lies with Early Times. Congress requested Returning Officer to stop polling on above mentioned booths and order repoll in the larger interest of free and fair polling on booth No. 113 Naira in Rajpora Constituency. |
