Poonch, May 6: Under the nose of authorities of Poonch Development Authorities (PDA), illegal parking has become a routine in whole town. According to the sources, there are many Illegal parking lots in the town especially in Prade Ground, Nakhonwali road, around police station Poonch, in front of Fort, at various places in main market which causes heavy traffic jams and district administration especially PDA and Poonch police for looking a mute spectator. Sources further informed that "due to these traffic jams, many students and employees fail to reach to school on time." Even though, district police has installed many instruction boards at various places not to stand vehicles in no parking zone area, but political activists and bureaucrats flouted the norms on the other hand police is also looking failed to implement the order issued by District Magistrate. Locals, especially students and employees have appealed to District Magistrate Poonch, Rahul Yadav to look into the matter seriously. |
