| Drug peddlers arrested, 71 intoxicant capsules recovered | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, May 6: Continuing its relentless efforts against the menace of drug smuggling and its propagators, District Police Samba has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 71 Nos. of Intoxicant Capsules (Parvon-Spas Plus) from his possession in the jurisdiction of P/S Bari Brahmana. A Police Party of P/S Bari Brahmana headed by Inspr. Darshan Singh, SHO P/S Bari Brahmana under the supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana while performing patrolling duty in the area of Channi Kartholi-Sarore Adda Gujjar Basti intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances in the vicinity of Gujjar Basti Sarore Adda area. During frisking of the said person, 71 Nos. of Intoxicant Capsules (Parvon-Spas Plus) were recovered from his possession.
The accused person identified as Anil Singh S/o Darshan Singh R/O Bri-Kamila, Vijaypur was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard case FIR No. 60/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Bari Brahmana and investigation started. The above arrest was made under the overall supervision of Faisel Qureshi, Addl. SP Samba. |
