| Inter-school District level sports tournament organized at Kathua | | |

KATHUA, May 6: The Department of Youth Services and Sports organized Inter School District level tournament in the discipline of Wushu, Chess at Sports Stadium Kathua and DAV Lachipur Kathua respectively. A total of 134 U/14 and U/17 Boys and Girls of various Schools of District Kathua participated in today's events.
In Wushu (U/17 Boys) Divjot Singh of Mount Litra School Vs Bharat of Govt Middle School Kalibari. Divjot Singh won by 10-4 and Bharat becomes runner up and in U/17 Girls, Komal Devi of H.S.S Keeriyan vs Laxmi Devi of Govt Middle School Proper, Komal Devi won by 7-3, and runner up Laxmi Devi.
In Chess (U/14 Girls) Harshleen Kour and Gurleen Kour of DAV Lachipur vs Mrigank Sangra and Isha Sharma of Infant Jesus Hiranagar in which Harshleen Kour and Gurleen kour of DAV Lachipur are winner and Mrigank Sangra and Isha Sharma of Infant Jesus Hiranagar are runner up and in U/17 Girls, Jagasaya and Shivani of Shiva Public School vs Shruti of I.P School Kathua in which Jagasaya and Shivani were winners and Shruti of IP School Kathua is runner up. |
