Jammu, May 6: All India Radio music competition is being organized for discovering and encouraging the young artistes. A preliminary competition will be held at AIR Stations in between 8th to 26th of July 2019 and only those who qualify, will make it to the final round. Any person who is of the age group 16-24 years as on 30th June 2019 can apply, provided he/she is not already a graded artist of AIR. The candidates reaching in the final round of music competition will be suitably awarded. The competition will cover various categories of Music like Classical, Light and Folk music in vocal category of Hindustani and Carnatic styles and Light classical for Hindustani and devotional for Carnatic music. |
