| SDH Mandi: Where patients are sent to specific lab, medical stores | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, May 18: Patients and visitors to the Sub Divisional Hospital (SDH) Mandi presents a very gloomy picture of medicare due to non serious attitude and lack of work culture among doctors and other staff.
Locals alleged that Block Medical Officer including some doctors force the patients to visit sepcific labs and medical stores .
They said out of the whole staff only a female Gynaecologist and some Medical Officers are performing their duties with sense of duty. Following various complaints in this regard, many social activists informed that there are some medical stores and labs of relatives of BMO who forces patients to visit to them.
BMO, it is learnt is going to transfer the female Gynaecologist to her post at Sawjain and get a male Gynaecologist at SDH Mandi.The locals have resented the decision and warned to hit streets if the said doctor is transferred. BMO Mandi was not available for comment. |
