| Traffic Police launches strict against passenger Auto rickshaws | | |
JAMMU, May 20: Traffic Police Jammu launched a special drive against passenger auto rickshaws which are running without fare meters, not using meters and charging flat rates.
During the last three weeks more than 1400 auto rikshas have been challaned and this drive will continue more strictly in the days to come or till the auto rickshaws switch to fare as per the meter rules. Traffic police city Jammu also sought cooperation from the general public to assist traffic police on this and if they find any auto rickshaws running without meter, they can lodge a complaint by calling or through WhatsApp to TCU Jammu on 9419147732.
