Suresh Dogra castigates Govt for conducting for incomplete survey on OBCs | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 20: Advocate Suresh Kumar Dogra Chairman OBC Department PCC J&K castigated Government for the conducting incomplete survey on OBCs in J&K. According to press release he said that many social, OBC organizations approached the Principal Secretary to Government, Social welfare department, and on their request, he directed to Rural Development Department to conduct the details of survey of economic and caste basis (SECC),with reference to the order of supreme court but till now, no Survey has been conducted. "It has been learnt that the government is claiming that the said survey is in continuous in process and if so, then where is the survey conducting agency and the time period required given for conducting OBC survey", he said and added that all the Deputy Commissioners have submitted the report. "If it is true provide the figure of the total population made by the Social welfare Department", said and added that however, no door to door information has collected by the Tehsildars and OBC certificate issuing Authority, Dogra warned the Government that a bogus report if submitted by the concerned Authority to the government shall not be tolerated. "A hunger strike shall be done regarding the said survey, because OBC peoples are already deprived of their legal and constitutional rights, whether it is Indian constitution or constitution of J&K, it is a request to government for the fair conduct of OBC survey for the Implementation of Mandal Commission report", he added. |
