Jammu, May 28: One Day Awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Vishwa Bharati public Higher Secondary School Akalpur More, Udhaywall, Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the Awareness Camp Students teaching staff and other administrative staff were make aware about the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, Emergency rescue methods of Rescue alongwith demonstration by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion Smt. Shashi Thakur, Dy. SP Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Shri Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden, Thakur Ranjit Singh, Deputy Chief Warden and R. Vijay Mangotra, Dy. Divisional Warden Civil Defence Jammu have delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. S.K Kour, Chairman of the Institution and Yoginder Koul, Retired IGP J&K Police, Vice President of the Institution were highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness-cum-demonstration programme. At least 200 students teaching staff and other administrative staff were attended the awareness programme. |
