| Police arrest one burglar & two snatchers, 35 tolas of gold ornaments recovered | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: A complaint was lodged by S. Kuldeep Bajwa S/o Late Sh Lal Singh R/o H No. 48 Subash Nagar Digiana Jammu that some unknown persons broke inside his house and decamped with gold ornaments and cash Rs 30,000/- when they were out of the house for some work. On this information a case FIR No. 89/2019 U/S 454/380 RPC had been registered at PS Gandhinagar and investigation started.
A team led by SHO, Insp Sunil Jasrotia was constituted which started rounding up suspects and developing leads, based on which three suspects namely (1) Ankush Massi S/o Arshad Massi R/o Bhagwati Nagar Jammu (2) Pardep Singh S/o Dev Raj Singh R/o Ward No. 13 Reasi and (3) Mohammad Tariq S/o Mohammad Aslam R/o Bhagtha Katra were tracked and apprehended.
Ankush Massi confessed his involvement in case FIR No. 89/2019 U/S 454/380 RPC of PS Gandhi Nagar and on his disclosure 33 tolas of gold ornaments stolen in case FIR No. 89/2019 U/S 454/380 RPC of PS Gandhi Nagar, FIR No. 211/2019 U/S 454/380 RPC, FIR No. 223/2019 U/S 457/380 of PS Domana were recovered.
Further, the other two accused confessed to having stolen gold chain weighing 2.5 tolas snatched in case FIR No. 90/2019 U/S 382 RPC of PS Gandhi Nagar and recovery was made based on their disclosure. |
