MV International school organises counselling session | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 28: Counselling session on 'Good Touch Bad Touch' was organized for classes 3rd to 5th at MV International School. The Session was conducted by Devika Mehta, Secretary CARE-North, Jammu. It was held to support the cause of creating awareness on child safety. The workshop was conducted in two sessions separately for boys and girls of class 3rd to 5th. Every child needs to be taught that their body belongs to them and they have a right to protect it. The workshop also highlighted how to handle a bad touch by shouting 'No', running away from the person and informing a safe adult about the same. The students were also shown a Power point presentation and videos, so that they could understand the difference between good touch and bad touch. Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, MV International School appreciated the need and importance of such sessions in school. He thanked the counsellor for her role in helping the children grow into confident individuals. |
