Jammu, May 28: Urmimala Das, Headmistress, Chinar Primary School (of Sainik School Nagrota) has returned from the USA after successfully completing her Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Programme for International Teachers (Fulbright DAI) at Arizona State University, Phoenix, USA.
She was one of the 54 distinguished teachers chosen for the programme from around the world through an elaborate and stringent selection process, to represent India at this programme.
The Fulbright DAI is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State to promote mutual understanding among people of the United States and other countries. Fulbright DAI is a semester-long professional development programme conducted at various universities in America. |
