| 5 Jammu players leave for 3rd Bocce Ball National championship | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 30: Five players from Jammu, selected by J&K Sports Bocce Ball Association would participate in 3rd Bocce Ball National championship to be held at Agra (U.P) From 2 Jun. - 5 June.
The championship is to be organized by Bocce Ball association of India in collaboration with U.P Bocce association. Bocce Ball is internationally recognized by international Olympic committee (IOC) and has been included in Paralympics since 1984.
This will be the 2nd time J&K players will get the chance play in bocce national championship. On this occasion Kavinder Gupta former Dy CM of J&K said that this type of sports activities will help the players to represent their state and country at national and international level.
The selected players are Gurvansh Choudhary (Dogra Hr.Sec School) Amritansh Raina (St. Xavier Convent School) Pranay Gupta (Open Birla Minds Sports Club) Kartavya Gupta (S.d Tara Puri High School) Gurmanjeet Singh (Nanda Sports Club) and Sunny Nanda will be accompany as head coach of the team. |
