Wrong doings in SMG Kashmir, employees seek removal of Deputy Director | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 30: The employees of State Motor Garage Department have demanded removal of Deputy Director Kashmir for his alleged involvement in wrong doings. In a complaint lodged with Governor Satya Pal Malik's office, the employees have mentioned wrong doings of the tainted officer. According to the complaint, which has also been shot to Chief Secretary, it is alleged that the Deputy Director Kashmir is entertaining the vehicles of some private influential dignitaries for various purpose in State Motor Garage Regional workshop Srinagar like washing, service, painting and repairs, The employees have said that the two Scorpios bearing Registration number, JK01D-0001, JK01Q-5400 were seen in the workshop for repair work, which is a gross negligence towards the government exchequer and "needs to be explained by him as to why he is indulged in such mall practice". They have further said that various vehicles of this department are being plied with those some officers who are not entitled as per government norms for allotment of vehicles, like ARTOs of Kashmir division and various Tehsildars at his own choice. They have said that three Tehsilders, two ARTOs have been allotted cars without entitlement as per the government norms for allotment of vehicles. "The vehicles include, Gypsy, JK01M-4530, A/car, JK01C-6148, Tavera, JK01M-1661, Tavera, JK01M-1663, A/Car, JK01Q-380," they said. "In the backdrop of above paras of it is highly requested to replace the said officer by the departmental feeding service officers from departments like Geology and Mining Department or Mechanical Engineering Department from whom the office of Deputy Director State Motor Garages Department Kashmir was run by then erstwhile," they said in the complaint. "Keeping in view the service tenure of present Deputy Director Kashmir which is beyond gone eight years at the same post so that relief shall feel by such change may be felt by the employees of state Motor Garage Department which remains left out/ untouched till date which needs to be brought, fore for disposal as we hope for the change in the coming general transfer to be held next," they added. |
