Jammu, May 30: Five days Basic Civil Defence Training camp started by Civil Defence Jammu at Activity Public Higher Secondary School Janipur Jammu.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the training programme Civil Defence Instructors were given the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, Emergency rescue methods of Rescue alongwith demonstration by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion Shashi Thakur, Dy. SP Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden and Thakur Ranjit Singh, Deputy Chief Warden have delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization.
The main aim of training camp to facilitate the students and staff members of Activity Public Higher Secondary School Janipur Jammu to deal with emergency situation like earthquake, road accident fire etc. 94 students and staff members attended the training programme. Manhor Gupta, Managing Director and Rishi Gupta, Principal of the Institution were also present on the occasion. |
