| Mayor tours Sidhra, starts development work | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 30: Continuing its drive to carry on further development activities in various parts of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation toured in the areas of Sidhra, Rangura, Dawara, Majeen and other localities of Ward No.71 and took stock of various development works being under taken in the ward. Shama Akhter Councilor of Ward No.71, Anil Gupta Assistant Executive Engineer, JMC and other staff of engineering wing of JMC and other sections were also present during the tour. He also laid foundation stone of Sulabh Sochalaya in the area of Sidhra highway in ward no .71 on the demands of general public and shopkeepers of that area as large tourists & pilgrims of other states passes through this bye pass on daily basis. Concerned councilor as well residents of Sidhra put forth before the Mayor that a Sampooran Bharat park may be developed on the bank of River Tawi on priority basis so that people from all communities can take benefit of this eco-environmental park. |
