JAMMU, June 4: A thirty-day long training programme on Open Office organized for the Junior Assistants concluded here this morning. The junior Assistants from various departments of the University were deputed to NIELIT, JU Main Campus for undergoing this training programme. On the concluding day today, the certificates of participation were also distributed among the participants. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu said that the training programme is very beneficial for the University officials as the participants gets the practical/ working knowledge of operating the various office tools that can be used effectively and efficiently for evolving responsive administration. He said that the programme is the need of the hour in order to step towards office automation. Among others present on the occasion include Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar, Dr Dharminder Magotra, Joint Registrar (Finance), Dhritika Singh, Assistant Registrar, Pawan Singh Bhau, President, JUNTEU and other members of the JUNTEU. |
