Jammu, June 4 : Samar Strikers and KC Sports Club registered win and entered in final in the ongoing 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League which is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club Jammu at KC Sports Club Jammu. The league is being organized under the Chairmanship of MK Sinha IGP Jammu and the executive/organizing committee members of the league includes Sujit Kumar DIG Jammu, Tejinder Singh SSP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Ranjeet Kalra, Hilal Rather, Prashant Mahajan CPO, Farooq Ahmad SP Headquarters Jammu, Suram Singh SP Rural, Hamid Choudhary Dy.SP DAR Jammu, Sudhir Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan, Sham Singh Langey, Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Vijay Saberwal, Sanjeev Sharma, Karan Singh, Madan Kumar and Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting officer/Former Ranji Player and Organizing secretary of the event. Earlier in the first semi final match KC Sports Club defeated Patel Club by 7 wickets. Batting first Patel Cricket Club scored 105 runs for the loss of all wickets in 19.2 overs with Aditya 24 runs, Shivansh 16 runs and Arya 11 runs. From the bowling side Musaif, Anmol, Madhav, Aman, kamalpreet and Dhruv took 1 wicket each. In reply KC Sports Club chased the target by losing 3 wickets thus won the match by 7 wickets. Amanpreet top scored with 57 runs and Anmol Rana 32 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side kartik,Nityam and Dhruv took 1 wicket . Amanpreet Singh was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from Ramada and Vivo. In another match Samar Strikers defeated AKN Strikers by 48 runs. Batting first Samar Strikers scored 157 runs for the loss of 6 wickets with Sumit 46 runs, Arsh 18 and Achintiya 17 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Rahul and Dhruv took 2 wickets each while Ishan took 1 wicket each. In reply AKN Strikers could not chased the target and managed to score 109 runs for 8 wickets thus lost the match by 48 runs. Sumit 30 and Arnav 24 were the main scorers. From bowling side Zaheer took 3 wickets,Sumit Chitkara took 2 wickets. Sumit was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from Ramada and Vivo. The matches were officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Amit Gupta, Sham Singh langey, Dyal, Gurvinder Singh and Vinod. Final match shall be played on 6 june 2019. |
