SKS welcomes mediclaim initiative for migrants, seeks its simplification | | | JAMMU, June 4: Sampoorn Kashmir Sangathan (SKS) in its core committee meeting under the chairmanship of Anoop Kaul has welcomed the initiative of medical scheme for migrants of J&K within state. Chairman SKS, Kaul said that the Sangathan was following the matter for the last five years vigorously both at GoI level and at state level adding that it was also announced twice by state government as SKS was always in touch with state and centre government but was not implemented on ground. President of the organization, Rakesh Koul while addressing meeting expressed dissatisfaction with the clauses of mediclaim which are very lengthy and time consuming rules and will hamper the treatment in emergency cases when a patient will be admitted in a private or government hospital. Rakesh Koul appealed the government that the facility should be made simple and medical cards should be issued on the basis of registration numbers or state subject of state. SKS urged the governor to issue instruction to rectify the clauses and make this facility hassle free so that benefit can reach to needy without any difficulty. |
