| JMC conducts solid waste Management awareness | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 14: A Door to Door awareness regarding Solid Waste Management is taken up by members of SWM team of JMC at Langer Deeli, Channi Jammu. Romit Kumar, Volunteer, Solid Waste Management told people that how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes. People carefully listened and determined to take up such fruitful case in homes as well as surrounding people were shown container of Blue and Green colour to collect organic and inorganic waste of their home in separate manner. These initiatives are taken by the team of JMC to change the behavior of the people. Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, Nodal Officer, SWM JMC appeals to the local people that go for home composting for that any technical guidance if required JMC is ready to help and will appreciate accordingly. |
