GBMS Dedikoote lacks basic facilities | | | Tahir-ul Haq
Early Times Report
KUPWARA, June 15: Most of the government schools in J&K are lacking basic facilities and GBMS-Dedikoote is no exception. The locals said the school lacks basic facilities and infrastructure. They said the school building is very old and was constructed some decades ago. The government run school, they said, has only four rooms, in which three rooms have been kept for teaching and one room is for office purpose. They said that, from the past some time the students have been complaining of lack of sufficient accommodation due to which the teachers are unable to provide proper facilities to the students that are enrolled there. They said that, teachers and students are very efficient and dedicated but they have no facilities. Sources said that, the staff has many times approached the higher authorities to provide the facilities for the students but went in vain, and this is complete injustice with the students and teachers, while as sometimes they manage but that creates confusion among other students. Even though students get affected during rains and other natural calamity situations, but authorities are least bothered about the well being of students and teachers. |
