| Migrants land encroached in Khanoo Babagund | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 19: Land of a migrant presently living in a camp in Jammu for the last 30 years has made a compliant that his ancestral land has been encroached by his neighbour in village Khanoo Babagund , Langate area of district Kupwara.
Alleging the unholy nexus between the encroacher Asan Dar son of Gafar Dar of same village and the concerned patwari of area Firdous Ahmed, Sunil.Pandita son of Makhan Lal Pandita, owner of the said piece of land, said that despite several proofs and witness of other neighbours brought to his notice but the encroacher is reluctant to handover the piece of land, Sunil added Sunil said that he along with his family had been on Tikker yatra from Jammu on the occasion of Mata Kheer Bhawani mela on June 10 last,and ought to have a glimpses of his hometown to interact with old neighbours but after reaching there he found that his land has been encroached .He lodged a complaint with the tehsildar concerned who directed the patwari to look into the matter.But the concerned patwari seems to be in no mood to solve the matter probably his palms may have been greased by the encroacher Asan Dar , alleged Sunil Pandita. |
