BDO Sunderbani ignores ADC Rajouri's order | Clerk attached for misdeeds continues to work in BDO office | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 19: It has been more than two months since the Assistant Development Commissioner Rajouri attached a clerk posted in Block Development Office (BDO) Sunderbani of district Rajouri with his office for allegedly withdrawing House Rent Allowance and other misdeeds but Block Development Officer came in support of the corrupt clerk and didn't discharge him to this day. Sources told Early Times that a clerk, Ashok Kumar who is posted in BDO Sunderbani was found guilty of withdrawing HRA despite having government accommodation that too illegally occupied by him which was meant for AEE for years. "After complaints to the ACD Rajouri, the preliminary inquiry found him guilty of misusing positions and looting State exchequer, accordingly ACD Rajouri issued an order (ACD/R/ 222-24 dated 20-4-19 ) for attachment of Ashok Kumar with his office till further inquiry but BDO Sundebani Raman Kumar Sharma seems to be very kind to his clerk who showed thumb to the order of his superior officer and didn't allow him to leave the office," they alleged. Other employees working in RDD expressed shock over the defiance shown by the BDO solely to protect the corrupt clerk for some personal motives which clearly exhibit his strong connection in the department Pertinently Early Times had already published the news about the clerk for withdrawing HRA illegally. The locals appealed to the Anti Corruption Bureau Chief Anand Jain to take action against the erring clerk and lodging FIR against him for allegedly withdrawing HRA. |
