| Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences organizes blood donation camp | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 19: Red Ribbon Club of Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences Jammu in collaboration with J&K State Aids Control Society Jammu, Blood Transfusion Department Government Medical College Jammu and Regional Red Cross Society Jammu organized a blood donation camp here today at Attendance Sarai Red Cross Maheshpura Chowk.
The objective of the camp was to propagate the significance of blood donation in saving lives and to generate awareness about the need of donating blood. The theme for blood donation camp was "Donate blood, Save life & Universal Access to Safe Blood Transfusion". Thirty six students of Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences voluntarily donated blood with great enthusiasm. The faculty members of Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences Jammu who donated blood were Sonam Sharma( Nodal Officer Red Ribbon Club SIPS), Ritu Gupta (Asst. Prof & Activity Incharge), Rajni Sharma (Asst. Prof SIPS) and Gurneet Kour (Nursing Tutor, SIPS). After donating the blood, refreshment was given to all the blood donors. |
