| JKTF holds meeting | | |

Jammu, July 28: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) organised the central executive body meeting here on Sunday.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria State Chairman in which the chronic issue of the salary issue of Masters posted as Head Teachers in the upgraded SSA Schools now SAMAGRA was discussed.
A threadbare discussion was held that how to resolve the issue which does not pertain to the Masters who have been appointed through JKSSRB and promoted as Masters under State Non-Plan scheme by the Education Department before last 10 to 20 years and were working as Masters in the State Plan/Non-Plan Schools since their Promotion as Masters.
The Higher authorities at the helm of affairs transferred these Masters to the Upgraded Middle schools under SSA schemes as the Head Teachers throwing all the existing rules and norms into wind without any fault of theirs. All the members present in the meeting expressed their grave concern towards the apathetic approach of the State Govt for not giving any heed to the problems of the Head Teachers. |
