| Police recovers stake money, 3 gamblers held | | | Early Times Report
Samba, July 28: In its ongoing efforts to weed out social crime from the society, Police district arrested 3 Gamblers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered stake money of Rs 2500/- from their possession.
Reports said that acting on specific information about gambling, a Police Party of Police Station Vijaypur raided the gambling spot at Thandi Khui near Petrol Pump, Vijaypur and arrested 3 gamblers alongwith stake money of Rs. 2500/- and playing Cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Uttam Chand son of Ram Dayal , Pappu son of Jag Mohan and Varinder son of Kamlesh all resident of Kherowa, Dhammu, Madhya Pardesh at present Thandi Khui near Petrol Pump, Vijaypur.
Taking cognizance into the matter, all the gamblers were booked under section 13 of Gambling Act at Police Station Vijaypur. |
