10-day old injured in Pak firing succumbs in hospital | | | Poonch , July 29 A ten-day old child injured in unprovoked firing by the Pakistan, succumbed in a hospital during treatment on Monday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
At least three civilians including a child suffered injuries on Sunday when Pakistani Army violated the ceasefire agreement by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Poonch sector.
“A 10-day old child injured in Shahpur area last evening in cross border firing has died,” Rahul Yadav, Deputy Commissioner Poonch said.
Mr Yadav said that the firing stopped last night.
Meanwhile, pal of gloom gripped the family, relatives and entire Poonch district soon after the news of child’s death.
Pakistan on Sunday initiated Unprovoked Ceasefire Violation by Firing of Small Arms and intense shelling with Mortars along LoC in Shahpur and Saujiyan sectors in District Poonch. |
