Kashmir centric politicians awaiting Pak to take the issue to the UNSC | | | Pakistan finds itself in a tizzy after the reorganisation of Jammu and Kashmir.. And nothing has been the support of the world body as far as Islamabad's opposition to the reorganisation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistan Army has denied the Indian claim about action by Pakistani army regulars and militants across the Line of Control and that their bodies were lying on the Indian side. The Indian Army said that it has foiled an attack by Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, killing five to seven intruders Pakistan has been quite clever it has covered all the bodies olf the killed people with Indian flags to give an impression that India soldiers were killed. Actually Pakistani troops resorted to ceasefire violations to push groups of militants into Kashmir. Pakistan Army spokesman Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has denied the Indian claim as "mere propaganda" and said that India was "trying to divert attention of the world form the situation of Kashmir."Similarly, the Foreign Office also issued a statement at about mid-night to reject the claims by India."We reject Indian allegations of cross-LOC action by Pakistan and possession of bodies," FO said. Meanwhile, the sources in New Delhi said that the Pakistan Army has been asked to approach the Indian Army by raising white flags and take possession of bodies which are lying on the Indian side of the LoC. But India has had no made such claim because for the last several years Pakistani troops have been resorting to violation of ceasefire to test the stamina of the India forces. Now that India has brought long Range guns on the border which had the capacity of demolishing some Army bunkers an d border outposts. In fact Pakistani troops were looking for an opportune time to cross the LoC and the IB in Jammu to convey to people of Kashmir that Pak troops are with people of Kashmir while staging protest demonstrations. It is for these reasons that situation is the valley is on an edge with Kashmir centric politicians to await for Pakistan to raise the issue before the UNSC. |
