| JKPS hails abrogation of Article 370 | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 11: J&K Prajapatl (Kumhar) Sabha has welcomed the scrapping of various provisions of article 370 of the constitution of India. White hailing the decision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Home Minister Amit Shah regarding abrogation of article 370 & 35-A, Gen. Secy of the Sabha FC Satia & senior Vice President Madan Lai Baldotra said that this act has generated equality among the people of the nation as a whole with one flag & one constitution. It would bring normalcy, peace & progress to the people from all walks of life. He also thanked the union Government for this bold & revolutionary decision that has opened up the gates of development & progress for the ages old deprived OBCs especially in J&K. The people of Jammu & Ladakh were being discriminated upon since independence. Now in true sense they have gained independence after this act of scrapping of the above said articles. Kashmir centric politicians, ever since have misused this provision for their vested interests. By revoking this article 370 8t 35-A, the central govt has given a new life to Pak refugees, Valmiki families as well as Gorkha community. It will also bring the daughters of the state at equal footing with the women of rest of the country as it has also rendered the discriminatory provision defunct, which used to deny them property rights in case of marriage to anyone outside the state. |
