| Mehbooba demands low calorie food in makeshift jail | | |

Jammu, Aug 12: Despite being arrested by authorities as a preventive measure to maintain law and order on the eve of Centre's move to abolish Article 370 and bifurcate J&K, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti is demanding meals of her choice.
As per report in a national newspaper, Mehbooba Mufti demanded brown-bread from the authorities for breakfast but she was denied the same as jail manuals don't permit the same. She is lodged in Hari Niwas Palace which is turned into a make shift jail.
Interestingly on the one hand PDP leadership is trying to instigate people to oppose restrictions imposed by the authorities to maintain law and order, party's leaders in the custody are demanding healthy food for themselves.
Brown bread is not an isolated case, leaders, who claimed themselves to be well-wishers of Kashmiri masses are demanding food of their choices in the jails.
They are demanding all luxuries in the jails. |
